Monday, August 13, 2007 One more announcement for Monday, Aug 13th I thought I should mention here that I'll be featured tonight on All Things Considered on National Public Radio. I'll be speaking about one my favorite novels of all time during their segment "You Must Read This." It is a book that I still contend is one of the best thrillers ever written. If you want to know what that might be and hear me extol its virtues, tune in tonight. Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to read the essay on line. I mentioned earlier that I would relate some of my on-the-road experiences during this summer's book tour. The tour took be across the country, but also off into the multiverse that is the Internet. It was definitely a different and enjoyable (if not a bit disconcerting) event. It was great meeting so many of you out there (and thanks for another batch of cookies, Jennie!). I'll have a more thorough recount of events with a few pictures as soon as I get unpacked and attempt to plow through the pile of mail on my desk. But I wanted to alert everyone to an appearance coming up on Sunday (August 5th) at 2pm Pacific Time. I'll be appearing on Second Life. It's part podcast, part shared-world experience.
