A week until Indy hits the shelves!
Just to celebrate the upcoming release, I thought I'd post this picture of me in an Indy get-up. Not that I normally do this sort of thing, but my publicist thought it would be a "fun" thing to do. Here is the end result.

UPDATE: Because many people have emailed me since I posted this picture on my website, NO, the crystal skull I'm holding in the photo is not THE crystal skull from the movie. Where's it from? Oddly I found the skull in a small village on the slopes of a dormant volcano. Sort of strange to already have it in my Cabinet of Curiosities at home when I was approached to write the novelization to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. As to the hat, I bought that at Lucasfilm Studios in the Presidio of San Francisco after reading the script for the first time. I mean, c'mon, I had to wear something "Indy" while writing the book!

Lots of thoughts went flitting through my head when this came up on the RSS Feed, none of them bad by the way, just not easily transmitted into a little bit of text.

It's not such a bad promo picture but I can't help wondering what was going through your mind, you have a strange glint in your eyes there.

Love the hat though, I mean what else can one say?

That glint was: "why oh why do I listen to my publishing house's publicist?!?"

Chuckling here... I knew that look was familiar I've seen it before on my own picture, I bet your teeth were clenched too.

Glad I don't have the occupational hazard of pictures being taken, hate it.
