I've had some good news this past week. The Doomsday Key has been selected to appear in Library Journal's "Best Books" list in its December issue. Click here to see the list.
Also Suspense Magazine just came out with their Top Ten Books for 2009, and Doomsday is #3 on the list. Here's the entire list for those looking for some good reading (or gifts for the holidays <grin>), along with a few interjections by yours truly:
1. Breathless by Dean Koontz (...always a master!)
2. Vanished by Joe Finder (...continues to wow me!)
3. The Doomsday Key by James Rollins (...just saw the paperback cover: it's cool!)
4. Face of Betryayal by Lis Wiehl (...a new writer I look forward to reading)
5. Pursuit of Honor by Vince Flynn (...always read him the first day his books come out)
6. Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child (...amazing writer, and even a greater guy)
7. Heart of Ice by Gregg Olsen (...everyone is talking about him; now I must read him)
8. The Gates by John Connolly (...loved this book...one of my favorites of the year)
9. The Neighbor by Lisa Gardner (...I've read everything by Lisa, except this book. But I bought it, so does that count?!?)
10. The Knight by Steven James (...another author I intend to read)

Thanks for the list, finding new authors and books to read is such a challenge. Thank you also for the work you do, I'm a very picky person when it comes to my books and I've read all of your books. I loved them all and once I start, I usually cant put them down until I'm done :)
