ACRES on 60 Minutes

Friday, January 08, 2010

I just finished an interview for the "Wild about Pets" radio show.  I learned from the host that ACRES (the Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species) where Dr. Lorna Polk works is going to be featured on this Sunday's 60 minutes. The segment is titled "Resurrecting the Extinct," which pretty much IS what Altar of Eden is about. I'll also be soon linking to that Wild About Pets interview.  It's a fun interview, plus it includes a slideshow of pictures.  So if you want a peek inside ACRES check out 60 Minutes this coming Sunday.

Wild About Pets

I also learned that Altar of Eden will be debuting at the #9 spot on the New York Times list. Thanks to all of you for making this such a great release! You all rock!

Jim, Loving the book and almost finished, however, I can't suppress my desire to identify "Lost Eden Cay" as shown in the prologue. Prior to coming to Vermont I grew up in Florida and spent incredible times fishing and diving in the Bahamas. I can't help but think that I have seen the island depicted. Is it a trade secret or can you give me a hint. I am an avid reader of you and your friend Steve Berry. Keep them coming. If you ever get to Vermont and would like a personal tour of our statehouse in Montpelier please let me know. Hope you and your family have a wonderful year. John

I finished Alter of Eden yesterday and it was sooo good, thanks alot! I was caught up in the book by the first page and I dont think I set the book down but one or two times until I was finished. Such an interesting subject, I love anything having to do with early man (clan of the cave bear:) I also loved all of the characters in the book, will we see Jack and Laura in the future? Congrats on the success!

How about brining Lorna and Jack as part of the Sigma series. Lorna is a scientist who in Altar of Eden showed she can hold her own, and Jack has the military backing. Basically, we need more Lorna and Jack... And Seichan and Gray and ...... you get the idea..
