Early Review of The Doomsday Key
Monday, May 11, 2009
Back from the road. I'll post more about the tour later, including a video of one of my book talks in regards to Jake Ransom and the Skull King’s Shadow. While on the road, a review for The Doomsday Key was posted and I’d thought I’d share it here.
Publishers Weekly
Bestseller Rollins's labyrinthine sixth Sigma Force thriller (after The Last Oracle) offers plenty of intriguing science and history lessons. .... A few of the book's many highlights include genetic manipulation, traitorous beautiful women, illuminated manuscripts, saints, prophecies, curses and miracles. Rollins deftly juggles all this and more as the Sigma team races from the depths of the Vatican to the outer reaches of Norway toward an explosive confrontation with the shadowy forces of evil known as the Guild. There was also a Q&A posted in the May 11th issue of Publishers Weekly (thanks, Allen Appel!). It’s linked here: http://www.publishersweekly.com/article/CA6657141.html?
Also just a head’s up: The Last Oracle comes out in paperback in another two weeks (May 26th).
More to come!
Oh, and I saw the new Star Trek movie this past weekend. It rocked. Definitely injected new blood into the franchise.
