Due to a squeezed schedule, the publication of The Devil Colony will be pushed off until next summer (June 2011). I was disappointed to learn this, but it was not totally unexpected. Publishers like to have manuscripts hitting an editor’s desk about a year before it is due to be published. The reason for that long lead time is to help in promotion, marketing, and getting Advanced Readers Copies to reviewers.
