2 Books, 2 Months, 2 Much 2 Talk About (Blog Entry)

As some of you now suspect, I have a couple of books about to hit shelves. After a bit of a dearth of new stories, I have come up with what I believe are the two best books I’ve written (of course, I’ll leave the final judgment up to all of you).
On May 3rd comes the release of the second in my kid’s series, Jake Ransom and the Howling Sphinx. It’s a big, roaring adventure full of puzzles, time-travel, lost civilizations, dinosaurs, monsters, and one kick-butt little dragon. It’s the sort of story that got me hooked into reading as a kid, and I had a blast writing it. I truly love this story. One reviewer best described it as “Harry Potter goes Prehistoric.” And I’m not arguing.
In association with that release, we’ll be running a little contest to name that little dragon, a species called a wisling. More on that to come.
Then 7 weeks after that comes the big book of the summer, The Devil Colony. This book is the largest of the Sigma books--not just in length, but also in scope and revelations. The delay in its release to this year is due to the amazing amount of research it took to craft this story and about the absolutely incredible discoveries I made along the way. Much of this book had to be kept secret, under wraps--and for a very good reason.
